Interoperability and communication between networked systems and
devices is often a major obstacle when choosing measurement and
automation hardware. itm will work with your engineers and IT
personnel to select and create the optimal network protocol for
meeting the needs of your existing and future measurement and
control network demands. Our engineers have worked with open
industry-standards such as OPC, TCP/IP, and CAN as well as
vendor-specific standards like Data Socket and DH+ . |

case study:![]() In one application we used a National Instruments cFP-2020 to collect and analyze load, pressure and temperature data from a manufacturing process. Software embedded on this Ethernet device publishes a secure webpage with the process performance statistics and sends this information to an OPC Server. The Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Ethernet process controller accesses this information and optimizes the manufacturing process. At the same time, itm developed OPC Archive software logs the data from the OPC server so it is available for further processing. |
